I am opposed to changing the CRA requirements for banks. In my economic development experience the CRA requirements help motivate banks to make investments in low income urban and rural areas. While many banks are responsible and invest in their communities, some are to reluctant or conservative with their investment policies and with out CRA would drain money out of low income communities. Some of these communities are only served by small banks. Keep the CRA requirement unchanged.
