FDIC Federal Register Citations Neighborhood Housing Services of the Black Hills From: Joy McCracken [mailto:joy@nhsbh.org] I oppose the FDIC's proposal to allow banks with assets above $250 million to be examined as small banks under the Community Reinvestment Act. This policy would reduce lending, investments and services to many low-income communities. Non-profits throughout South Dakota rely on strong partnerships with banks to provide programs and services to assist low-income families with homeownership opportunites, without strong CRA regulations these partnerships would not exist.
