Subject: Community Reinvestment -- RIN 3064-AC50

Given that the economic and political forces at work today have either flattened or driven down the average
wage of Americans over the past 25 years, and

Given that housing prices have risen significantly over those same years, and

Given that this is a significantly greater problem for communities served by the Community Reinvestment Act

I see no reason to weaken the the enforcement or provisions of the Community Reinvestment Act.

The cost for banks in conforming to the regulations and paperwork is of course offset many times over by the benefits to these underserved communities--improved housing, more businesses, and thus ultimately more jobs created and even more taxes paid.

Please do the right thing and do not weaken this important law benefiting poor & underserved communities--the most vulnerable people and places in our great country.

Patriotically yours,
Harold Fortuin
