FDIC Community Affairs Events:
- Provide information and technical assistance to encourage banks to be responsive to the credit and banking needs of the communities they serve, including low- and moderate-income;
- Convene banks, local and state governments, and community-based organizations to explore resources and promising practices;
- Develop and disseminate financial education tools for children and adults to banks, teachers, parents, emerging small businesses and non-profit training organizations; and
- Support pilot programs and alliances to expand financial capability and inclusion.
