The Consumer Research Symposium, hosted by the FDIC’s Center for Financial Research, facilitates a discussion of recent research in consumer finance between financial regulators, academics, and the private sector.

Registration is now open for the 11th Symposium, which will be held on March 10-11, 2022. Due to public health conditions, the Symposium will be held virtually.

This year’s program features a keynote address from Professor John Friedman of Brown University, on “The Economic Impacts of COVID-19: Evidence from a New Public Database Built Using Private Sector Data.” Networking breaks will be offered after all panels to facilitate interactions with presenters and attendees.
