The Consumer Research Symposium, hosted by the FDIC's Center for Financial Research, facilitates a discussion of recent research in consumer finance between financial regulators, academics, and the private sector.

The 11th Consumer Research Symposium was held on March 10-11, 2022. The event featured a keynote address from Professor John Friedman of Brown University, on “The Economic Impacts of COVID-19: Evidence from a New Public Database Built Using Private Sector Data.” The 2022 Conference Program includes links to selected paper drafts and presentation slides. Video recordings of the event are now available.
