Tonya Tyler is the Vice President (VP) of Operations for the National Initiatives Division at NeighborWorks. Prior to her current role, Tonya was the VP of the National Foreclosure Mitigation Counseling (NFMC) Program where she managed the final year of the programs’ appropriation and provided oversight of the wind down of the program. During her ten-year tenure in the NFMC program, she was responsible for developing and managing the NFMC Quality Control and Compliance process for grantees. Before NeighborWorks, she spent 15 years as the Housing Director responsible for Housing and Community Development programs at Mid-Ohio Regional Planning Commission (MORPC) in Columbus, Ohio, which included the development and oversight of foreclosure and pre- and post-purchase housing counseling. Tonya has a MBA from Webster University.
