Thomas E. Stokes III is the Community Affairs Manager of the Atlanta Region of the Division of Depositor and Consumer Protection (“DCP”) of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (“FDIC”). The Region includes the states of Alabama, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, and West Virginia; he is responsible for the administration and management of its community development outreach, financial education and technical assistance activities.
Tom is a graduate of the Graduate School of Banking of the South at LSU, Baton Rouge, Louisiana, the National Surety School (Houston, TX), the Center for Creative Leadership (Greensboro, NC campus), and the ABA Commercial Lending School. He is an alumnus of the Presidential Management Fellows Program, serving his appointment with the US Small Business Administration.
