Pamela Freeman, CRCM, is currently a CRA Program Manager, dedicated to the rulemaking and implementation process for the revised Community Reinvestment Act (CRA). Prior to this role, Pamela was Chief of the Fair Lending & CRA Section in the Compliance & CRA Examinations Branch in FDIC’s Division of Depositor and Consumer Protection in Washington, DC. Pamela has been with the FDIC for over 33 years, and has been a Risk Management Examiner and Senior Compliance Examiner as well as a Senior Examination Specialist. She has overseen examination and enforcement issues involving various consumer protections laws, specializing in CRA, Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA), and Fair Lending. Pamela is a graduate of the University of Arkansas and the ABA Stonier Graduate School of Banking at the University of Pennsylvania where she also received a Wharton Leadership Certificate. She has also served on the faculty of the Stonier Graduate School of Banking and continues to serve as a Stonier Capstone Advisor.
