Presidential Innovation Fellow, FDIC Office of Innovation Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation

Justin is currently a Presidential Innovation Fellow (PIF) with the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation and has 10 years of experience delivering solutions for government in the fields of finance, healthcare, disaster recovery, and economic development. Before PIF, he was a Managing Consultant at IBM where he helped lead projects at the Food & Drug Administration to build virtual assistants and natural language processing (NLP) tools for detecting adverse events in electronic health records. Before IBM, he helped local, state, and Federal government agencies recover from Hurricane Sandy and be more resilient to future disasters. He has a Master of Science in Public Policy & Management from Carnegie Mellon University and a BA in Economics and Policy Studies from Syracuse University.
