Jonathan Miller

Jonathan Miller is the Deputy Director for Policy and Research in the Division of Depositor and Consumer Protection at the FDIC.  Previously, he worked for the U. S. Congress for more than 23 years, including the U.S. Senate Committee on Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs.  He played a key role in drafting the consumer protection and mortgage provisions of the Dodd-Frank Act. Mr. Miller was also instrumental in the drafting and passage of the Housing and Economic Recovery Act, which created the first Affordable Housing Trust Fund and the Neighborhood Stabilization Program. Mr. Miller is a graduate of Georgetown University and has a Master's degree in Public Policy from the Harvard University's John F. Kennedy School of Government.
