Biography - Margaret (Meg) E. Tahyar

Meg Tahyar is the co-head of Davis Polk’s Financial Institutions practice and a member of the Fintech team. She provides strategic bank and financial regulatory advice to clients, including many of the largest U.S. and non-U.S. financial institutions, regional banks and technology companies.

Topics on which Ms. Tahyar advises clients include corporate governance, consent order remediation, bank chartering, payment systems, bank powers and activities, resolution planning, securities disclosure, and capital and liquidity.

Ms. Tahyar has worked on almost two dozen living wills for clients ranging from the largest financial institutions to smaller regional banks. During the COVID-19 pandemic, she has been deeply involved in advising clients on all aspects of the government support programs.
