Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation Chairman Jelena McWilliams issued the following statement on Kathy Kraninger, Director of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau.

“I want to thank Director Kraninger for her service and contributions to the FDIC Board of Directors and her leadership on the Federal Financial Institutions Examination Council.  The FDIC has benefited from her two decades of public service, and I have benefitted from her collegiality, candor and professionalism.  I wish her the very best.”
