Security of Wireless Local Area Networks
Program OverviewThis course will assist IT Examiners in understanding Wireless LAN Security course consists. This course addresses in detail WLAN intrusion and DoS tools and techniques, functionality of the 802.11i amendment to the 802.11 standard, the inner-workings of each EAP type used with wireless LANs today, and class and types of WLAN security solutions available, from wireless intrusion prevention systems to wireless network management systems.
Key ObjectivesUpon completion of this course, participants will acquire the necessary knowledge to implement and manage wireless security in the enterprise by creating layer2 and layer3 hardware and software solutions with tools from the industry leading manufacturers.

This course is open to appropriate staff of the FDIC and partner government regulatory agencies. This course is not open to the public or staff of private banks.
PrerequisitesParticipant should have attended ITEC, Introduction to Security, and if possible, Introduction to Telecommunications and Networking.
