FDIC Makes Public January Enforcement Actions; No Administrative Hearings Scheduled for March 2013
The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) today released a list of orders of administrative enforcement actions taken against banks and individuals in January. No administrative hearings are scheduled for March 2013. The FDIC issued a total of 33 orders in January. The orders included: five consent orders; two removal and prohibition orders; four civil money penalties; one voluntary termination of insurance; four section 19 orders; 16 orders terminating consent orders and cease and desist orders; and one order terminating supervisory prompt correction action directive.
