The FDIC is providing FDIC-supervised institutions with the attached brochure (in PDF format) –
Regional Coalitions: Public-Private Partnerships for the Financial Services Sector –
which describes the benefits of establishing public-private partnerships. The brochure was issued jointly by the Financial and Banking Information Infrastructure Committee (FBIIC) and the Financial Services Sector Coordinating Council for Critical Infrastructure Protection and Homeland Security (FSSCC).
Regional coalitions are voluntary organizations formed to facilitate the recovery of the financial services sector following a natural or man-made disaster.
The coalitions are open to all members of the financial services sector.
The brochure outlines the benefits of joining a regional coalition, including the ability to network with state and local emergency management agencies as well as strategic partners within other critical sectors.
The brochure includes a list of existing regional coalitions and provides contact information for those interested in learning more about them, joining one or starting one, in their area.
