The Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System, the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, and the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency are co-sponsoring a special “Ask the Regulator” session to discuss the recently released Interagency Guidance on Leveraged Lending.

During this session, representatives from each agency will discuss the new guidance, including:

  • Examples of how to define a leveraged loan;
  • Guidance on how to evaluate the ability to repay;
  • Prudent underwriting practices for these types of exposures;
  • Enterprise valuation methods; and
  • Other related issues, including your questions.
