Consumer Protection and CRA Hot Topics

FDIC examination staff will share their expertise in the areas of Servicemembers Civil Relief Act (SCRA) and the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA). Topics will include common SCRA examination findings and best practices, as well as a discussion of CRA evaluations for unique institutions and the alternatives available to traditional (small, intermediate small, and large bank) evaluation procedures.
The 45-minute presentation will be followed by a 45-minute question and answer session. To ensure participant questions are addressed, participants will have the opportunity to email their questions in advance to SFConsumerProtection@fdic.gov. Questions may also be submitted during the live broadcast.
Who Should Attend
San Francisco Region Supervised Banks: We encourage bank presidents, chief executive officers, chief risk officers, chief operating officers, general counsels, compliance officers, CRA officers, and internal auditors to attend.
Registration InformationPlease complete the online registration form to reserve a place and receive the teleconference phone number and pass codes. The teleconference is open to FDIC-supervised institutions in the San Francisco Region. Participants may call in from any location and are not required to be onsite at their institution. If you have any problems registering, please send an email to SFConsumerProtection@FDIC.gov and include your name, title, and bank name/location.
To allow sufficient time for all participants to be connected, we appreciate your efforts to call at least 15 minutes prior to the beginning of the teleconference, if possible.
