Teleconference on Risk Management – The Impact of Rising Interest Rates on Asset/Liability Management (ALM)
Thursday, June 21, 2018
1:00 PM – 2:30 PM Pacific Time
On June 21, 2018, the FDIC’s San Francisco Regional Office will host a teleconference on the impact of rising interest rates on ALM. The FDIC will discuss interest rate and liquidity trends; techniques for measuring interest rate risk; and ALM risk management practices.
The 60-minute presentation will be followed by a 30-minute question and answer session. To ensure questions are addressed, participants will have the opportunity to email their questions in advance to FDICSanFrancisco@FDIC.gov. Questions may also be submitted during the live broadcast.
Who Should Attend
San Francisco Region Supervised Banks: We encourage Directors, Chief Executive Officers, Presidents, Chief Financial Officers, Chief Risk Officers, Treasurers, and Internal Auditors to attend.
Registration is now closed. The teleconference is open to FDIC-supervised institutions in the San Francisco Region. Participants may call in from any location and are not required to be onsite at their institution. If you have any problems registering, please send an email to FDICSanFrancisco@FDIC.gov and include your name, title, and bank name/location.
To allow sufficient time for all participants to be connected, we encourage you to call at least 15 minutes prior to the beginning of the teleconference.
Note: Although there is no cost to participate, we would appreciate your registration by Friday, June 15, to reserve your telephone line.
