FDIC Atlanta Region Regulatory Conference Call
Cybersecurity Intelligence, Resilience, and Management

Thursday, April 21, 2016
10:00 AM to 11:30 AM Eastern Daylight Time

The Division of Risk Management Supervision’s Atlanta Regional Office will host a Regional Regulatory Conference Call to discuss cybersecurity on Thursday, April 21, 2016, from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM Eastern Daylight Time.

Cybersecurity has become a critical issue facing financial institutions. This presentation will provide an overview of the current cyber threat landscape and discuss how banks can enhance and leverage existing security and governance practices to ensure information security programs can effectively address evolving cybersecurity risks. The presentation will also discuss various actions the federal banking agencies have taken in response to cyber threats, as well as provide information on various resources available to banks to combat cyber threats. The presentation will be followed by a question and answer session. Questions may be submitted in advance of or during the live broadcast by emailing ATLConferenceCall@FDIC.gov.

The conference call is open to FDIC-supervised institutions in the Atlanta Region. Bank directors, officers, and staff members are welcome to participate in the conference call. Participants may call in from any location and are not required to be onsite at their institution. There is no charge for participating; however, advance registration is required by Thursday, April 14, 2016. If you or other individuals at your institution would like to participate in the call, please complete the online registration form. Only one registration is required per institution.

The primary contact designated during the registration process will receive a confirmation email on Monday, April 18, 2016. The email will contain a toll-free number and passcode for participants to gain entry to the call as well as a link to access the presentation materials.  The presentation materials will be available for you to access or download no later than Wednesday, April 20, 2016. Please distribute the confirmation email to all participants at your institution.

If you need assistance with the registration process or need to modify your registration information, please email ATLConferenceCall@FDIC.gov or contact Administrative Assistant Tammy Taylor at 678-916-2250. Please do not resubmit the registration form.
