FDIC: Alliance for Economic Inclusion Meeting

The FDIC Community Affairs staff invites you to the next AEI meeting on December 11, 2014, at the Plaza Branch, Kansas City Public Library. Networking will begin at 8:00 a.m.; the formal agenda at 8:30. Two speakers will be addressing the needs of low- income families and students in the Kansas City Public Schools (KCPS), and the state of the unbanked and underbanked in the Kansas City metro from the newly released FDIC National Survey of Unbanked and Underbanked Households.
This meeting will offer extended breakout sessions in order to brainstorm new implementation ideas and emerging issues. Breakout sessions scheduled are as follows: improving credit scores; banking the unbanked, KCPS Outreach; future trends affecting LMI families; and Next Step KC's Small Dollar Loan and Free Tax Preparation. The meeting adjourns with the conclusion of the breakout sessions
