The FDIC Chicago Region will be hosting a Regional Regulatory Conference Call on Wednesday, October 14th at 1:00 p.m. (Central Time). Members of your Board and staff are invited to participate in this one-hour call.
October 14th Teleconference
Our topic for the October 14, 2015, teleconference will be “Real Estate Appraisals and Evaluations.” This one-hour session will:
- Provide an overview of the appraisal and evaluation regulations and interagency guidelines
- Discuss when an appraisal or evaluation is needed
- Discuss regulatory expectations for evaluations and validating appraisals and evaluations
- Discuss appraisal and evaluation review programs
Our speakers, Case Manager Brad Walworth, Supervisory Examiner Terry O’Neill, and Examiner Jim Boudreau will provide their unique insights from an examination perspective. Assistant Regional Director Dan Malone will provide opening remarks and preside over the teleconference. The one-hour call will conclude with a question and answer session.
The teleconference is primarily open to FDIC supervised institutions in the Chicago Region. Bank directors, officers, and staff members are welcome to attend. Participants may call in from any location and are not required to be onsite at their institutions.
