FDIC Chicago Region Regulatory Conference Call
Wednesday, June 17, 2015
10 a.m. (Central)
The FDIC's Division of Depositor and Consumer Protection (DCP) offers a series of events for bankers, including teleconferences and webinars, to maintain open lines of communication and update bank management and staff on important bank regulatory and emerging issues in the compliance and consumer protection area.
The FDIC Chicago Region will be hosting a Regional Regulatory Conference Call on Wednesday, June 17th at 10:00 a.m. (Central Time). Members of your Board and staff are invited to participate in this one-hour call.
Does your bank currently operate with assets of at least $305 million and less than $1.221 billion? Does your strategy include operating within or close to this asset range in upcoming years? If so, you may be subject to Intermediate Small Bank (ISB) CRA examination procedures at your next examination.

Our topic for the June 17, 2015, teleconference will be “Intermediate Small Bank CRA: Maximizing Your Bank's Success.” This one-hour session will:

- Discuss the importance of ISB CRA during your strategic planning
- Define and provide examples of community development activities
- Discuss Best Practices for identifying, tracking, and documenting community development activities

Our speakers, Compliance Examiner Patrick Ryan and Financial Institution Specialist Janice Crawford, will provide their unique insights from an examination perspective. Deputy Regional Director Teresa Sabanty will provide opening remarks and preside over the teleconference. The one-hour call will conclude with a question and answer session.
