Wednesday, June 23, 2010
10:00 am Central Time

On June 23, 2010, the FDIC's Chicago Region will host a Regional Regulatory Teleconference. Our topic for the teleconference will be "RESPA - Amendments and Tips to Complying in 2010." The one-hour session will:

  • Provide background on why RESPA changes were enacted;
  • Provide an overview of the requirements;
  • Provide tips on how to achieve your bank’s optimal compliance performance; and
  • Address the new Frequently Asked Questions.

Our speakers, comprised of FDIC Compliance Examiners, will provide their unique insights from an examination perspective. Deputy Regional Director L. Ray Jackson will provide opening remarks and preside over the teleconference. The one-hour call will conclude with a question and answer session.

The teleconference is primarily open to FDIC-supervised institutions in the Chicago Region. Bank directors, officers, and staff members are welcome to participate. Participants may call in from any location and are not required to be onsite at their institution. To register for the teleconference, please follow the registration instructions below. Please complete your registration by Monday, June 14, 2010.
