FDIC Consumer Newsletter Provides Timely Guidance on Financial Matters
Did you know that the FDIC also publishes a quarterly newsletter with timely consumer tips and information on topics such as deposit insurance, choosing and using credit cards and avoiding financial fraud? FDIC Consumer News, which is written in plain English and is available free of charge, can help Money Smart educators enhance their classroom discussions and provide the programs students and graduates with continuing education on financial matters.
Current and back issues of FDIC Consumer News appear online at www.fdic.gov/consumers/consumer/news. Information in the newsletter may be reprinted in whole or in part without permission from the FDIC. Starting with the Summer 2004 issue, a special online format enables banks, educators, consumer organizations or anyone else to easily reprint FDIC Consumer News in any quantity.
