Figure 11 demonstrates how market measures could be used as an adjustment factor for assigning institutions to insurance pricing categories. An institution is assigned to an initial category based on its supervisory rating or other method. Market indicators would then be used to determine if an adjustment, either up or down, should be made to the initial categorization.
