Great Careers Begin with the CEP

The FDIC is now accepting applications to fill career opportunities in its entry-level Corporate Employee Program (CEP). New CEP classes will start in June, July, or August 2019. If you are selected for this highly-competitive program, you will be part of a select group of new recruits helping to ensure the stability of and public confidence in America’s banking and financial services industry. You will perform mission-critical work, evaluating the financial condition of FDIC-insured institutions and protecting depositors and consumers from harm, traveling the country in a unique role that only a few experience. As a Financial Institution Specialist (FIS), you will gain a broad understanding of banking operations and acquire the skills you need to keep up with ever changing developments within the industry. The 3-4 year training program will teach you everything you need to know to prepare for a career in either government service or the private sector, while earning a competitive salary with outstanding benefits.

The FDIC expects to fill at least 150 new FIS positions at locations around the country in 2019. This announcement is open to current college seniors and recent graduates with major fields of study in economics, accounting, banking, finance, marketing, business administration, commercial of banking law, mathematics, statistics, and related fields.
