Great Careers Begin with the CEP
The FDIC is now accepting applications to fill career opportunities in its Corporate Employee Program (CEP) training classes that start in the summer of 2014. If you are selected for this highly-competitive program, you will be part of a select group of new recruits on the front lines of overseeing America’s banking and financial services industry. You will perform mission-critical work, evaluating the financial condition of FDIC-insured institutions and protecting depositors and consumers from harm, traveling the country in a unique role that only a few experience. As a Financial Institution Specialist (FIS), you will gain a broad understanding of the banking industry and acquire the skills you need to keep up with ever changing developments within the industry. The three-year CEP training program will teach you everything you need to know to prepare for a career in either government service or the private sector, while earning a competitive salary with outstanding benefits.
The FDIC expects to fill at least 100 new FIS positions at locations around the country in 2014. Those positions are open to college and university students and recent graduates with major fields of study in economics, accounting, finance, business administration, and related fields and an overall grade point average (GPA) of at least 3.00.
