On Friday, August 14, 2009, Union Bank, National Association was closed by the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency. The FDIC was named Receiver. MidFirst Bank, Oklahoma City, OK acquired all deposit accounts.
The FDIC as Receiver for Union Bank, National Association, Gilbert, AZ has taken all actions necessary to terminate the Receivership Estate. The Receiver published a legal notice of intent to terminate the receivership on February 1, 2023 and has made all dividend distributions required by law.
Effective October 1, 2023, the Receiver was discharged and the Receivership Estate was terminated and ceased existence as a legal entity.
