Failed Bank Information for Truman Bank, St. Louis, MO

On September 14, 2012, Truman Bank was closed by Missouri Division of Finance. The FDIC was named Receiver. Simmons First National Bank, Pine Bluff, AR acquired all deposit accounts.

The FDIC as Receiver for Truman Bank, St. Louis, MO has taken all actions necessary to terminate the Receivership Estate. The Receiver published a legal notice of intent to terminate the receivership on August 20, 2018 and has made all dividend distributions required by law.

Effective December 01, 2018, the Receiver was discharged and the Receivership Estate was terminated and ceased existence as a legal entity.

About Simmons First National Bank

All deposit accounts, including brokered deposits, were transferred to Simmons First National Bank, Pine Bluff, AR ("assuming institution"). Former Truman Bank locations reopened as branches of Simmons First National Bank.

Your transferred deposits were separately insured from any accounts you may have already had at Simmons First National Bank for at least six months after the failure of Truman Bank.

You may withdraw your funds from any transferred account without an early withdrawal penalty until you enter into a new deposit agreement with Simmons First National Bank as long as the deposits are not pledged as collateral for loans.
