Persistent cookies store information on your computer for longer periods. This type of cookie will remain on your hard drive until it reaches its expiration date or is deleted by you.

- FDICconnect (www.fdicconnect.gov). The FDICconnect Web site provides a secure channel for the conduct of business between FDIC and FDIC-insured institutions and other government regulators. The cookie captures no personally identifiable information and expires 5 minutes after it is created. You can set your browser to warn you when placement of a cookie is requested, and decide whether or not to accept it. Rejecting this cookie will not affect your use of FDICconnect, but could result in an error message should you attempt to log in before your account is fully processed.
