FDIC Accessibility Statement
In accordance with Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act, The FDIC requires equal access to all programs and activities conducted by the FDIC to individuals with disabilities comparable to those who do not have disabilities, as outlined in 12 Code of Federal Regulations Part 352, Nondiscrimination on the Basis of Disability.
Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act requires electronic and information technology purchased, developed, maintained, or used by federal agencies to be readily accessible to individuals with disabilities. The Section 508 standards are the technical requirements and criteria used to measure conformance with this law. The Architectural Barriers Act requires buildings and facilities built, designed, constructed, altered, leased or financed with Federal funds, by or on behalf of the United States after August 12, 1968, are accessible to individuals with physical disabilities. Personal Assistance Services (PAS) are non-medical assistance services for employees who have difficulty with performing activities of daily living, such as assistance with removing and putting on clothing, eating, and using the restroom. A PAS can be available to employees whose specific targeted disabilities make it difficult for them to perform such activities on their own.
