The Federal financial institution regulatory agencies hosted a national
conference for Federally-insured minority depository institutions (MDIs)
regarding the challenges they face and developments that are key to ensuring
their long-term success and viability. The conference presented a unique
opportunity for minority bankers, regulatory officials, and private industry
representatives to exchange knowledge and increase awareness on matters
affecting MDIs.
The 2009 Interagency Minority Depository Institutions National Conference
was held at the Westin Michigan Avenue, Chicago, Illinois, from
July 8 – 10.
