The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation has proposed a rule that would require the disclosure and reporting of certain agreements that relate to the Community Reinvestment Act of 1977. This rule, which is titled "Disclosure and Reporting of Certain CRA-Related Agreements," is required by section 711 of the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act that was signed into law by President Clinton on November 12, 1999.

The FDIC will accept comments on the proposed rule until July 21, 2000. Refer to the following links to learn more about the proposed rule and to submit comments on this rule using the FDIC's Electronic Public Comment site:
