Dear Mr. Feldman,
I am currently the manager of the Hackberry Branch of Cameron State Bank.
We are a community bank serving 3 parishes in Louisiana. Two years ago
we became a large bank under the Community Reinvestment Act. This has
made it very burdensome for data collecting and reporting for small businesses,
small farms, and community development loans.
I am in favor of changing the definition of a small institution to one
with total assets of up to one billion dollars without regard to the
holding company assets.
