Subject: Community Reinvestment -- RIN 3064-AC50
Dear FDIC,
I oppose the FDIC's proposal to allow banks with assets above $250 million
to be examined as small banks under the Community Reinvestment Act. This
policy would reduce lending, investments and services in low-income
communities. The CRA has been vital in bringing much needed investment and
services to low income communities, particularly those of color and which
has historically been neglected. The FDIC's proposal would turn back the
clock in the worse possible way.
Sincerely,
Peggy Jen
Martinez, CA
