Subject: CRA regulations

We are writing to OPPOSE relaxing the standards for compliance with the Community Reinvestment Act. By raising the threshhold amount, many banks serving rural communities will be exempt. Housing providers and other agencies/programs serving poor and low income persons have created partnerships with local banks because the banks are concerned about their CRA standing.
