RE: RIN 3064-AC50

We are a small housing authority in the State of Nevada, where our clients have not received any of the so-called benefits from the present Community Reinvestment Act.

It is nearly impossible for a Native American family in our area to get a homeownership loan or any kind of a loan for that matter. Financial institutes live within a small box and if a family does not fit within the perimeters of that box the institute can not help them. Until the size of the box is enlarged, Native Americans will never fit into that box and therefore, will never receive financial assistance.

Since we presently do not get any services, this proposed change will only serve to worsen banking services to tribes and Native Americans, if that were possible. Before you make a change to something it should be in working order, then make changes for the better. This change to the CRA is not for the better and will only reduce the level of community reinvestment, which hasn't trickled all the way down to the real rural communities yet.

Please reconsider your changes to the Community Reinvestment Act.

Cordially,
Ralph S. Rogers, Executive Director
