I strongly oppose the proposed rule changes in the Community
Reinvestment Act (RIN 3064-AC50). This action will do harm to rural
communities. : President Bush pleged to the Nation that he would lead
with compassionate conservitism. Denying rural Americans and working
poor access to funding flys in the face of this pledge. In an election
year where he is calling his opponent a flip-floper, it would be best
for the country if the Community Reinvestment Act be left alone.
