Subject: SPAM::Community Reinvestment - RIN 3064-AC50
I strongly oppose the proposed rule changes in the Community
Reinvestment Act (RIN 3064-AC50). This action will do harm to rural
communities. : I grew up in a small Indiana river town ringed by
farmland. I live now in a large city, ringed by farmland that is fast
disappearing, in part because farmers cannot hold onto their land. The
people of our country, whether urban or rural, deserve the opportunity
to have a safe and pleasant place to live, and those with less money are
no less deserving! Both my small town and my big city have benefitted in
the long run from sound business and banking practices which did NOT
ALLOW REDLINING. We must plan ahead for our communities, not for short
term developers.
