Subject: Harmful Proposal
Dear Mr. Feldman:
I am a NH State Representative and strongly oppose your proposal
which will significantly weakens the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA).
Your proposal will make our task of providing housing for moderate
income residents of the communities I represent much more difficult. The
proposal is contrary to the intent and focus of the CRA to meet credit
needs of low- and moderate-income communities. Your proposals will
result in fewer branches, loans, and investments in my low- and
moderate-income communities. Please re-evaluate and withdraw your
proposals.
