Subject: Community Reinvestment -- RIN 3064-AC50
Our nonprofit agency, which provides services in 12 central Florida
counties, serves more than 20,000 low income individuals with major
medical, physical, psychiatric, economic and other needs. Those we
serve have significantly benefited from affordable housing and other
local investments made possible by local CRA contributors.
We oppose allowing banks with assets above $250 million to be treated
and examined as small banks under the CRA. This can only have a
negative impact in our community and region by reducing the lending,
investments and services that benefit low income individuals.
