Comment Info:

General Comment:1. The names & addresses of 3rd party sources of public record data need to be
made available if data in credit report is in dispute and updated. For example,
they may report a bankruptcy filing but not its withdrawal. Reporting credit
bureau won't give contact info. of source.

2. If the source of a disputed credit report item does not respond to the
credit bureau in writing within 30 days, the CB can not add it back into the
report until the source contacts the individual involved.

I have had to write to small local banks to include positive data not just negative.

Collection agencies do not respond to requests for correction, nor do they go
back to the creditor to verify disputed items.

The source of any data being inputed to credit bureaus should be held to the
same standard & penalties for not complying as credit bureaus
