Sent: Wednesday, June 08, 2005 5:31 PM To: Comments Cc: Jim Covington Subject: Proposal to change the Loan Classification System (FIL-22-2005) I am not in agreement with the proposal to change the Loan Classification System. The proposed system would be more complex and more burdensome on smaller community banks like mine. Bankers and Regulators have developed a common vocabulary and understanding of the terminology, so why change our vocabulary and confuse everyone. If there is a problem with larger banks, establish a threshold for them. Why should the proposed changes have to apply to ALL banks? Please reconsider this proposal and let's keep our current rating system that works great! Thank you for your consideration. Sylvia Coon |
