Subject: community reinvestment
without the oversight banks and lending institutions will not comply
with the reinvesting requirements. There are so few sources of funding
today for affordable housing for families and the elderly. This lack
of oversight will only give banks another opportunity to turn a blind
eye to the needs of their communities.
