Subject: Community Reinvestment -- RIN 3064-AC50
Please do not adopt the FDIC's proposal to allow banks with assets
above $250 million to be examined as small banks under the Community
Reinvestment Act. I'm not aware of any good reasons to make this
change from a full review to a limited review. There is at least
one good reason to not make this change. It would reduce lending,
investments and services in low-income communities. In an era of
lack of affordable housing and economic revitalization, this is exactly
the step backward you must not take. Thank you for your attention.
Sincerely,
