Dear FDIC:
I am significantly opposed to the FDIC's proposal to allow banks with
assets above $250 million to be examined as small banks under the
Community Reinvestment Act. Do not listen to the banking trade
association lobby. Such a policy would reduce lending, investments, and
desperately needed services in low-income communities. The result would
be less support for those communities that need it most.
