I oppose the FDIC's proposal to allow banks with assets above $250
million
to be examined as small banks under the Community Reinvestment Act. This
policy would reduce lending, investments and services in low-income
communities.
As a middle income resident of Louisiana, I know very well how much
our
poor and minority neighborhoods desperately need this help to
revitalize,
and even to survive. Please do not execute Community Reinvestment 12 CFR
Part 345.
