Subject: Community Reinvestment -- RIN 3064-AC50
I oppose the FDIC's proposal to allow banks with assets above $250
million to be examined as small banks under the Community Reinvestment
Act. This policy would reduce lending, investments and services in
low-income communities. In small underserved communities such as
Lima,Ohio participation by all local lenders is essential to provide the
level of resource needed to improve
the quality of housing and the quality of life for low income residents.
I strongly support maintaining required full review and participation of
all banks with assets above $250 million.
