As the Executive Director of a nonprofit housing corporation in rural Kentucky,
I strongly oppose the proposed rule changing the floor for serious CRA
exams on services, investment and lending from $250 million to $1 billion.
Over the years, the CRA has provided opportunities to address community
needs in Lewis County, needs that would have been unmet if not for the
CRA requirements and a progressive local bank.
In my opinion, changing the requirements will undermine our community.
Please do not adopt this rule.
