Gentlemen, South Florida has a critical shortage of affordable
housing, this is due to a shortage of land and construction cost
increases. We need all the help we can get to make sure that we can
house our working class.
I oppose any increase to the threshold of what is considered to be a
small bank. The proposed FDIC rule would exempt many of our community's
critical partners from the effective and productive requirements
currently in place.
I urge the FDIC to withdraw its proposed rule.
